The breakfast options featured local ingredients that were absolutely delightful.

The signage to locate the steading was very poor and caused a delay in our arrival.

Consider bringing a portable fan if you tend to feel warm at night, as the rooms can retain heat despite adjusting the heating.

    stunning nature
    comfortable accommodations
    check-in organization

My brother and I were blown away by the beautiful surroundings, especially the deer and barn owls we saw while enjoying drinks at night. The cozy rooms were stocked with everything we needed and made for a great night's sleep. Just a heads-up, the check-in could be a bit more organized, but it didn't take away from the amazing experience we had here! 🌟

    stunning grounds
    cozy modern room

Our stay was a total dream! The grounds were stunning, complete with deer grazing nearby. The room was cozy and modern, with fantastic views and a little kitchenette that met all our needs. I especially loved the homemade touches in the room, like local treats and a generous supply of quality coffee. Will was super helpful, suggesting nearby walking routes that we thoroughly enjoyed during our two-night escape.

    great location
    accommodating owners

It was just a fitting option for a weekend adventure in Aberfeldy with real value for money. Enjoyed early morning coffee on the bench as the mist lifted in the valley. Bring midges repellent as they might ruin your evening relaxation.

    breathtaking views
    homemade breakfast
    lush countryside
    weak wifi
    limited connectivity

my stay was fantastic at the steading! the views from my room were breathtaking, overlooking lush green hills and charming cottages. the homemade breakfast, especially the fresh eggs and pastries, truly exceeded my expectations compared to my previous visit to aberfeldy.

    the wifi was virtually non-existent.

    stunning views

    peaceful retreat
    poor signage
    audible noise

The stay was quite enjoyable, especially with the stunning views from our upstairs Superior Double Room. We appreciated the local ingredients at breakfast, which had a delightful taste. Although we encountered some challenges locating the property due to the poor signage, it was well worth it for the peaceful retreat it offered after a day of exploring nearby attractions. A minor downside was that the noise from below was somewhat audible but didn't detract significantly from our experience.

    difficult location

The decoration at The Steading was stylish yet homely, with thoughtful touches throughout, like fresh flowers in the ensuite and lovely textiles, making it an inviting and comfortable retreat for a senior traveler like myself.

Signage to find the location could be improved.

    Delicious breakfast and stunning views

We had a wonderful time at this cozy B&B, especially enjoying the delicious breakfast featuring local ingredients like fresh eggs from free-range hens. The views from our room were breathtaking, adding to the overall charm of our stay. While the kitchenette was somewhat cramped, making it challenging at times, it didn't diminish the overall experience too much.

    friendly hosts
    cozy accommodation
    rushed dining experience

Had an amazing time with friends! The spot was perfect for relaxing and exploring. We loved dining at Ailean Chraggan and enjoyed a riverwalk to Three Lemons. The friendly hosts provided great recommendations, and the place was clean and cozy. Don't miss the scrumptious breakfast options!

The only downside was dinner at Fortingall Hotel, where we were rushed to vacate before finishing our coffee.

    delicious breakfast

    Perfect retreat for couples

We had an upstairs room which had fantastic views over the whole hotel and surrounding countryside, the fresh air and warmth were very nice. Plus, waking up to Sarah's breakfast with those fresh eggs cooked to order each morning, it felt like every bite was pure happiness.

It was a bit pricey but definitely worth it.
